My name is Dennis and I am a proud Army Veteran. For the last 10 years, I have been plagued with one medical issue after another. I am presently in a skilled nursing facility because of bladder complications. I am supposed to have surgery to remove massive stones in my bladder, but I have already been told that my bladder will never function properly.
I am also supposed to have surgery to remove blockages in my right leg. I can barely walk half a block without intense pain. I suffer from severe vascular disease, and both of my carotid arteries are affected.
I have had several heart attacks and have 15 stents in my heart and also a pacemaker. My cardiologist tells me that I also need a valve replacement.
My income is only my social security disability and a small amount from the VA. I barely survive.
Up until now, I have been able to make it, but this last emergency surgery has pushed me over the edge. I need some help.
I was living in a small older RV on the property of a friend, but because of mobility problems, I can't live there anymore.
I have a service dog to help me and a few friends.
