Help Denise Watson Through Life-Saving Cancer Surgery and Recovery

Hi, this is Ginger Hull and Tammy Purdy, and we are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend, Denise Watson. She has recently been diagnosed with Rectal Cancer and has already gone through Chemo and Radiation. She is now scheduled for major surgery August 21st, that includes the removal of a cancerous tumor as well as reconstructive surgery. The surgery is extremely complex and will last 13 hours, followed by an extensive recovery period. Unfortunately, Denise does not have great health insurance, and she will be out of work for several months, unable to afford medications, rent, food, or other basic living expenses during this time.

The surgery that Denise is facing is a 13-hour procedure to remove the tumor and undergo reconstructive surgery. Afterward, she will need months of rest and rehabilitation, during which time she won’t be able to work. The physical and emotional toll of cancer, combined with the uncertainty around her recovery, has left her struggling to even think about how to cover basic living expenses. As of now, she has no means of paying for the medications she will need, rent, utilities, or even food during this difficult period.

Denise is one of the most selfless, kind-hearted people we know. She has always been the first to help others in times of need, whether it's offering a listening ear, providing support during tough times, or lending a hand when someone is in trouble. Now, she is the one in need of help. It’s heartbreaking to see her go through this, and we know she would never ask for help herself, so we are doing it for her.

We’re asking for $10,000 to cover her medications, rent, and food for the next several months as she recovers. The total amount will help cover the following:
