These words truly capture the essence of our dear friend, Deirdre Wilcox – a self-employed Licensed Massage Therapist, yoga instructor, healer, spiritual teacher and artist.

Deirdre has dedicated her life and career to helping others heal and grow. However, currently she is in need of our support, which means it’s now our time to give back!

Deirdre’s sister, Emily, was diagnosed with stage 4 Esophageal cancer in June. She has chosen to live her life to the fullest while undergoing a holistic approach to treatment. Even though Emily is now enrolled in Kline Galland Hospice, she is spending time in a local pottery studio as often as possible.

Emily and Deirdre are sharing precious time together. The sisters are both artists and animal lovers and are very close, making this particularly difficult. Their three brothers have also recently visited. As Emily becomes sicker, Deirdre will become her full-time primary caregiver, resulting in a significant loss of income.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 to assist with lost wages, living expenses, caregiving costs, end of life services, and bereavement time.
