We want to share an update on David Solorio's health. Unfortunately, cancer has returned with a new tumor, he’s facing a more difficult stage. David will begin second round of treatment, which will include stronger and more aggressive cell therapies and chemotherapy to combat it. Because of this, he will be admitted in Portland. We know that it will not be an easy path and that very difficult times will come.

The monies previously gathered in the amount of 13,300 were spent on medical bills, medications, home expenses as David was not working for a long time. The donations were able to help sustain his family financially and they are very grateful.

David has been so much more than just a coach; he’s been a mentor, friend, and role model to countless young athletes in our community for over 20 years. His dedication to coaching soccer has shaped the lives of many young men, helping them grow not only on the field but into responsible, respectful adults.

David is the heart of his family, and they rely on him completely. Right now, he is facing a serious medical battle, and it’s our turn to be there for him just as he has been there for so many of us.

This GoFundMe is to help ease the financial burden of medical bills and day-to-day life expenses while he focuses on healing. Any donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. We also ask for continued prayers and for everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this time.

Hoy queremos pedirles su apoyo, sus oraciones y su solidaridad para un hombre excepcional: David Solorio. David ha sido mucho más que un entrenador. Ha sido un mentor, un amigo, y una figura inspiradora para muchísimos jóvenes de nuestra comunidad durante más de 20 años.

A través del fútbol, David no solo enseñó técnicas y estrategias, sino que dejó huella en la vida de muchos, ayudándolos a convertirse en mejores personas dentro y fuera del campo. Su impacto como coach ha sido fundamental para el desarrollo personal y emocional de muchos jóvenes que hoy son adultos agradecidos por su guía.

Hoy, David enfrenta una dura batalla de salud. Su familia depende completamente de él, y es en estos momentos cuando más necesita de nosotros.
