Dear Friends, family, loved ones.

I/we are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to ask for your support for Jim Abel (many know him as Coach Jim) who is going through a very difficult time. He was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease, has congestive heart failure and within the last 2 months was diagnosed with stage 3 esophagus cancer. Jim is facing hardship financially. He starts chemo on July 21st which is not covered by his insurance.

My uncle Jim raised me and loved me as his own. He would give the clothes off of his back for anyone. He was a huge part of the Northside community for over 40 years. Baseball coach, football coach! He is kind, he is giving. Truly a GREAT man. He won’t ask for help, so I will!!! He will go without so others could have!!! I could not imagine life without him. I love him and my Aunt Donna, their children, and our family more than anyone! I’m hoping this can help them get through this AWFUL time.
