Hello! This is my father, Jesus Cruz, better known as "Chuy". For the last two and a half years, he's been fighting gastrointestinal cancer. In September of 2022, most of his stomach was surgically removed, and he began chemotherapy, but the cancer has slowly spread to other parts of his body, which has weakened him and caused him to lose all strength. He can no longer go to work, which was one of his favorite things to do. As head of the household, he's now stressing and struggling to pay his bills, mortgage, and on top of that, medical expenses. He's the strongest man I know. He has not given up on life and is looking forward to gaining his strength back and enjoying life with his family and grandchildren.

¡Hola! Este es mi padre, Jesús Cruz, mejor conocido como "Chuy". Desde hace dos años y medio él ha estado luchando contra un cáncer gastrointestinal. En septiembre del 2022 le extirparon quirúrgicamente la mayor parte del estómago y comenzó quimioterapia, pero el cáncer se ha extendido lentamente a otras partes de su cuerpo, lo que lo ha debilitado y le ha hecho perder todas las fuerzas. Ya no puede ir a trabajar, que era una de sus actividades favoritas. Como cabeza de familia, ahora está estresado y luchando para pagar sus facturas, su hipoteca y, además, sus gastos médicos. Es el hombre más fuerte que conozco. No ha renunciado a la vida y espera recuperar fuerzas y disfrutar de la vida con su familia y sus nietos.
