Hi, I’m Christy. My mom is my rock and my best friend. She has beaten breast cancer and uterine cancer. But now she’s struggling, fighting stage 4 lung cancer. It is small cell cancer, so it is very aggressive. She had 95% of her left lung removed. The cancer has now spread to her right lung and a spot on her brain. As you know, cancer treatment is very expensive. She has insurance to cover some of it, but it doesn’t take care of all of it. She’s needing help with paying her medical bills. Between the chemo and now the radiation she is going to have to have, the bills are stacking up. She’s got enough to worry about without the medical bills piling up.
