Christine Roark has battled autoimmune diseases for 25+ years. But her more recent diagnosis of 8 years has left her unable to walk. I am updating this Go Fund Me Page, to give a little insight what what MS is. It is a complicated disease that affects the brain & spinal cord. It’s like there’s a short circuit in the body’s electrical wiring. The immune system attacks the protective covering of the nerves. This causes damage and disrupts communication from brain to the rest of the body. This leads to a wide range of symptoms such as vision problems muscle weakness numbness and fatigue. When the numbness hits it causes her to not be able to walk till the numbness passes. Christine has 10 lesions on her brain and 6 on her lumbar. But she is walking part time. She has been in and out of the hospital for the past 2 months doing MRIs, bloodwork, infusions, and physical therapy to try and reverse/delay her debilitating disease.

Her medical and home bills are piling up, and gas expenses to/from doctor's appointments are adding to the burden. Being a single mom with only one source of income has made it difficult.
