On March 5th, Chris was in a terrible accident.

He was measuring the deck of his family cabin for repairs when it gave way causing him to fall 12 feet.

He sustained multiple serious injuries, including fractures to his neck, back, clavicle, and ribs.

In addition, he did not have his phone with him to call for help so he laid there overnight until he was found the next morning and taken to Santa Rosa Memorial hospital.

He has had three surgeries including one to fuse the vertebrae adjacent to T2 which was crushed and one to repair his broken clavicle.

While it’s too early to tell if he will walk again, he was able to move both legs and feet slightly in his hospital bed.

With Chris’ permission, I have setup this GoFundMe to help him and his family with related costs such as:

· 24-hour in-home nursing (not covered by insurance)

· Living expenses during his recovery

· Medical bills and rehabilitation

· Specialized treatments and therapy to aid his recovery

Recovering (physically and mentally) from this life-changing event will take years and Chris wants everyone to know that he is feeling all the love, support and positive vibes coming his way. ❤️‍
