Hi Friends and Family,

Our beloved Chris recently contracted a serious infection that tragically led to a brain abscess. He underwent unexpected and painful brain surgery and is now beginning a long, delicate road to recovery. Doctors anticipate a 30-day hospital stay, with a possible discharge around June 7.

Chris is a talented photographer, a passionate artist, and above all, a light in the lives of so many. He’s been making the best of the situation—just as we’d expect him to—with resilience, humor, and heart. He’s been finding peace in the courtyard outside his hospital room, discovering moments of joy even in the midst of challenge.

Unfortunately, the overstimulation from hospital activity recently triggered a seizure, reminding us just how fragile this time is. Chris needs rest, healing energy, and the steady support of the community that loves him so deeply.

We are asking for three things during this critical time:

1. Prayers and positive thoughts—Chris feels them.

2. Loving visits—they truly lift his spirit (please reach out before visiting).

3. Financial contributions—any donation, big or small, will help ease the burden of missed work, mounting medical costs, and the long road to full recovery.
