Jan 10, 2026 Update
To everyone who donated, shared, or sent words of encouragement—thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Living with ALS brings a lot of unknowns, but your generosity has given Cheryl, Mike and the boys something steady to hold onto: hope. Your support will help cover medical expenses, therapies, equipment, and caregiving needs, and it brings real peace of mind as they navigate this path.
Every contribution—no matter the amount—has made a meaningful difference. Your kindness reminds them they are not facing this alone.

Those of you who see Cheryl regularly, know she has been struggling with muscle weakness for about 18 months. Her and Mike traveled to The Cleveland Clinic looking for answers where she was diagnosed with ALS on March 4, 2025. Mike, Stephen and Jacob are doing all they can to support Cheryl with everything she needs, but ALS is unpredictable and relentless. Due to the progression of the disease, the family has decided to move to a house that is more accommodating for a wheelchair. ALS not only takes a physical and emotional toll on the entire family but also a financial one as well. We are looking to help lessen this burden. On top of medical bills, eventually they will need to buy a wheelchair accessible van, which is extremely expensive. There are many costs that come with ALS that we would like to help offset.
