Hi, my name is Maclovia, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my incredible mother, Cecillia. This past year has been filled with unimaginable challenges for her and our family as she continues to fight through one life-threatening medical crisis after another.

In December, Cecillia was flown to Colorado after being diagnosed with Covid, pneumonia, and pleural effusion. She was placed on a ventilator and remained hospitalized until she was stable enough to come home on December 15th.

Sadly, just two weeks later on December 30th, she had to be airlifted again due to sepsis pneumonia. She was admitted to the pulmonary ICU and placed on a ventilator once more. Her recovery required an extended stay in Colorado for rehabilitation until March 7th.

But her fight didn't end there. On March 9th, my dad found her unresponsive at home. She was rushed to the hospital where doctors discovered that both of her lungs had collapsed. Once again, she was intubated and battled through another critical phase, finally being released on March 19th.

Most recently, on August 2nd, she suffered a stroke and was flown to St. Anthony Stroke Center. The next day, doctors performed a mechanical thrombectomy, but were only able to remove half of a large clot in her carotid artery. As of now, her prognosis remains uncertain.

Throughout all of this, my dad has remained by her side, leaving home for months at a time to care for her. The emotional toll has been immense-but so has the financial strain. The cost of travel, food, and mounting medical bills has become overwhelming.

We are humbly asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount you can contribute will go directly toward covering medical expenses, travel costs, and basic living needs for my parents as they continue this long, uncertain journey.
