Stand by Brandon: Let’s get him back his tools!

Hello Community,

My name is Brandon Burgess, and I’m a business owner and community member here in Santa Cruz.

This past week, I experienced a major setback—my work truck was broken into, and all of my tools were stolen. As someone who works in the trades, these tools aren’t just gear—they’re my livelihood. Losing them means I can’t take on jobs, support my business, or provide for myself the way I normally do.

The loss is not only financial—it’s personal. I’ve worked hard to build my toolkit over the years, and seeing it taken away in a moment is incredibly discouraging. But I’m not giving up. I’m turning to this community for support in hopes of getting back on my feet and back to work.

If you know me, you know I take pride in being hardworking, kind, and always willing to lend a hand. Now, I’m the one in need of a hand. Any amount you can give—big or small—makes a difference. And even if you can’t donate, sharing this with your network would mean the world to me.
