Beth Klopfenstein has been a beacon of strength, compassion, and dedication in the Emergency Department at Palomar Health for many years. Known for her skillful care and repeated nominations for Nurse of the Year, Beth has always gone above and beyond for her patients and colleagues.

Now, Beth is facing an unimaginable personal hardship. Her father was recently diagnosed with advanced metastatic cancer, with a heartbreaking prognosis of just 1–2 months to live. As he transitions to hospice care, Beth has taken on the role of his primary caregiver—while continuing to serve her community at the hospital.

This is our chance to support someone who has given so much to so many. All funds raised will go directly to Beth to help ease the financial burden during this difficult time—covering caregiving costs, time away from work, and any additional needs for her and her family.
