Surf Internet's core values are based on the service we provide our internal customers — each other. This includes small everyday interactions up to special acts that have very large, lasting impacts.

This year one of our fiber splicers in Indiana, Antonio Cordova, has been met with not one, but two life-changing events regarding his family. In the spring, Antonio and his family found out that his daughter was diagnosed with a potentially life-threatening disease. This caused Antonio to miss a significant amount of time at work as well as the expense of the doctor's appointments. Later this fall, Antonio and his family will travel to Maryland so his daughter can see a specialist for this disease which will result in additional expenses and missed time at work.

Just last week, Antonio met his second life-changing event when he found out his brother took his own life. Antonio then had to hold it all together as he notified the rest of his family as well as friends of his brother. As he prepared for his brother's funeral service, he realized the amount of expense building up with zero insurance to offset the costs.

An immense amount of heartache and expense has been thrust upon Antonio due to events no one should have to endure. With that being said, a GoFundMe page has been set up for Antonio to help with these costs, as well as hopefully create some peace of mind.
