Stand by Anthony and His Family

Anthony Ferguson, is a devoted father and husband who is bravely facing the battle of cancer. For the past several months, Anthony has undergone a series of tests, scans, and biopsies to determine a diagnosis of Renal Cell Carcinoma that has metastasized to his lungs and lymph nodes. This Stage 4 cancer requires many aggressive courses of treatment. These courses include months of immunotherapies and targeted combo medicines that will try to shrink the lung nodules. Subsequently, after more scans, one of Anthony's kidneys will be removed as it has already been consumed by this aggressive cancer.

If you know Anthony, you already know his dedication to his beautiful family and the pride he takes in his business. Anthony is strong in body and mind and is prepared to fight. With this fight comes a litany of challenges for both Anthony, Shannon his wife, and his two teenage daughters. Shannon, who has taught at Roosevelt Elementary in Cocoa Beach for 15 years, will need to take time away from her first-grade classroom to care for him during treatment and after surgery.

The Fergusons are now and will continue to try to keep their household running as normally as possible. Their daughters are club volleyball players and hopefully on the road to college scholarships. We want to ensure that they are kept on that path.

Most of all, medical costs will add up. Immunotherapies and their combo drugs, the nephrectomy, and any subsequent procedures, medicines, and therapies are all going to pile up even after insurance pays part.

Financial burdens should be the last thing on this family's mind as they support each other. We thank you for any support you can give. These donations will go directly to the Ferguson family to be used as needed.
