Hi, my name is Aly. I'm a single mom, a disabled mom of a neurodivergent kiddo.

This last year has been beyond rough with the loss of family and friends. Then, I was fired from my job, and they are fighting unemployment. I haven't received any money since my final check on June 16th. I'm on state benefits, but that doesn't pay the bills. I'm looking for a job that I can do with my disability. I'm trying to figure out how to start the disability process and complete the paperwork. It's been hard and stressful. I'm trying to use all the services I can, but it's beyond frustrating to be told we have no funds or we can't help you. I'm beyond depressed; it's hard to get out of bed. My therapist is worried about my mental health, and I just need some help. I'm at my wit's end. I hate having to ask for help. I've been having to ask a lot over the last year, and I don't know what to do. Without getting any benefits from unemployment, I'm screwed. So please help if you can or even share.
