Stand by Alicia in Her Time of Need
Donation protected
UPDATE: She’s up, awake and regaining strength. Still hospitalized, and most likely will be for another couple weeks as they navigate the best course of action moving forward. Medications and procedures/surgeries are all being discussed.
Hello friends and family,
On the night of February 12th, my wife, Alicia, was rushed to the ER with severe shortness of breath and an extremely fast heart rate. Doctors discovered fluid around her lungs and worked tirelessly to stabilize her. They attempted multiple times to shock her heart back into a normal rhythm, but with little success. Given the seriousness of her condition and her history with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), she was transferred to UCSF for specialized care late tonight. As of right now, she will not be able to respond to messages due to the state that she is currently in.
This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for our family. While we remain hopeful and trust that she is in good hands, the medical costs, travel expenses, and time away from work will be an overwhelming financial burden.
We are reaching out to ask for your support—whether through a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or simply keeping her in your thoughts and prayers. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward travel and medical expenses.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love. Your support means everything to us.
With gratitude,
