Urgent Help for Adel's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

Dear Friends and Family,

In early 2025, our beloved father, grandfather, and husband, Adel, received devastating news: a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. He has already faced this formidable challenge with incredible strength, completing 8 sessions of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. He is scheduled for the biggest surgery of his life, the highly complex Whipple procedure on April 22, 2025. His treatment course does not stop there. God willing, the surgery goes without complications, and he will continue to gain strength through intense physical rehabilitation, and ultimately more sessions of chemotherapy. This long and arduous battle will require immense physical and emotional fortitude.

Adel has always been the pillar of our family, a man who consistently puts others before himself. Now, he needs our unwavering support as he confronts months of chemotherapy, extensive recovery, and rigorous follow-up care.

Unfortunately, Adel's journey is made even more difficult by the fact that he was denied health insurance and disability/Medicaid coverage. While we appeal this verdict and apply for assistance programs, this leaves our family facing a staggering financial burden. With countless additional expenses looming for chemo treatments, medications, necessary PET scans to guide therapy, physical therapy, home care, and transportation; we are facing a significant obstacle to his recovery.
