Life can change in a split second — and for Matt, that moment came when a motorcycle accident left him with severe injuries to his leg and ankle. A proud U.S. Navy Seabee veteran, Matt has spent his life building up others — whether it was serving his country, lending a hand to a neighbor, or working hard to provide for his wife and children. The accident left Matt with multiple fractures that required extensive surgeries — metal rods, screws, and, most recently, a skin graft to repair the damage. His recovery is going to take months of immobility, therapy, and pain management. Because of the severity of his injuries, he’s unable to work during this long road to healing, and his family is now facing the stress of mounting bills and lost income on top of everything else.
