Hello family and friends... I'm not loving the fact that I'm having to do this, but bear with me. I've been in the hospital for over a month now battling an autoimmune disorder called hidradenitis suppurativa. I have been battling this in silence for the last 13 years, and it hasn't been easy. The disorder lays dormant and only presents itself when you have an overactive immune system. Up until now, there was very little research and medication for this disorder. This year alone, I have had 4 surgeries. You all know I'm a single mother of 6, and I've never been one who needed or asked for any handouts because of how my pride is set up. So know this has been very hard on me. I'm needing help with my kids' school clothes and bills because I'm unable to work. I really appreciate all the phone calls and messages of encouragement. Keep them coming because they're definitely needed. I have a few more surgeries ahead of me, and believe me, I'm hating having to be away from my kids, but in order to be here with them, this is what I have to go through. I appreciate everyone who has helped me through this by sending me food, money to eat, etc. May God bless all of you!!!!
