Stand by a Caring Mother in Her Time of Need
Donation protected
My mom is the kind of woman who gives and gives until there’s nothing left and then somehow finds a way to give more. She’s always been the strong one, the provider, the caretaker for her family, clients, and everyone who needed her. But right now, her body is shutting down. She’s been having multiple seizures a day and is currently stuck in a hospital in Detroit.
I flew out immediately to be with her, but the reality is… I can’t afford to stay here long. I’m trying to be strong like her, but I’m scared and I refuse to leave her alone while she’s going through this. We don’t know how long this will last. We don’t know if she’ll ever be able to safely drive/transport alone again. What I do know is she needs time. Time to rest. Time to heal. And right now, she can’t even think about healing without stressing over bills or if she’s going to be able to work again.
I’m asking for help so I can stay here with her and make sure she’s not facing this alone. And I want to raise enough that she can take a real break without guilt, without financial fear, and just space to get better, however long that takes. This isn’t easy for me to ask. But I believe in community and I believe in the kind of love that shows up when it’s most needed. If you can donate, even a little, it would mean everything. If you can’t, sharing this helps more than you know.
