Stand by Ralph and Sherry Today

My name is Ben Sneed and I'm starting this fundraiser for my sister-in-law and brother. He just turned 74 June 1st. He has been in the hospital since Mother's Day. I have set up this fundraiser because both him and his wife are unemployed. His name is Ralph Sneed he is retired and on Medicare. His wife Sherry has been trying to take care of him, but she also is battling breast cancer. There has been no improvement since he has been admitted. There are several ailments he is battling at the present. He's on a resuscitator he has a tracheal procedure done on his throat and he's on dialysis three times a week at least. Sherry his wife, has to go back and forth depending on her son or daughter to take her to the hospital to check on Ralph at at least 20 plus miles away. She has to depend on them because their vehicles are down. He has an old truck, and she has an old car and both of them are not running at the presents. Somehow up until now they've managed to make it, basically living off of social security and disability. Now that Ralph is in the hospital it's time for me to try to do something for them, that's why I've come up with this go fund me idea. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and am 77 years old retired and live on social security and retirement. So, I barely make it from month to month as well. With all this happening to both of them now, I felt that it was my duty to find some way to help them out. This is it, I'm depending on the GoFundMe program to do as much as possible to give them a hand up.

We just heard this week, through a group call from the hospital that the Care Group feels that they have done everything they can for Ralph and have reached a decision that they feel they are now prolonging his death instead of prolonging his life. Sherry, his wife asks for a little extra time to make a final decision. She really has a heavy weight on her shoulder. Ralph has asked her to keep him alive as long as she could while at the same time, she hates seeing him suffer so. While all this is going on there's one thing that's probably way in the back of her mind and that is the expense all of this is going to cost her and on top of that she's going to have to bear it alone because from what we all understand Ralph is coming close to the end of his life. So, there's only one thing left that I could do to help relieve that burden, which is to try to do as much as I can through this GoFundMe program to help her through all of the debt that this situation is going to cost her. The medical bills and funeral costs are going to be outrageous. I truly appreciate all the help that you all can give me, her and her family doing this challenging time. THIS IS A MAJOR UPDATE. I am sad to announce that Ralph has come to the end of his life journey. He has passed. I give all my prayers and condolences to his wife, children and our family. I will continue this GoFundMe program for several more weeks because of even more expenses now that Sherry will have to face. So, your donations are needed even more so now.
