I’m raising funds for my dear friend, Ladena and her family, who just yesterday, commented with a huge smile how God was smiling down on her and her family. She brings a level of strength and love for those around her that is contagious. I just adore her so much and want to share her story. Ja’lon Brooks, her beautiful twenty one year old son, with four adoring children, tragically lost his life last night. Our hearts are breaking and as with so many of our young souls we lost him too soon. Ladena is extremely close with her boys and is suffering the most horrific loss a mother can endure. She is not only enduring the unimaginable but is holding her family together as her mom was also hospitalized from medical complications worsened with the horrific news. Please keep Ladena, Jaylon, and their family in your prayers and close to your heart during this most devastating time and as their lives have been forever changed.
