Stand Up to All Hate, and End Teacher Abuse

Greetings: I’m Gary Hardy an American Educator and I need your help. After more than 20 years as an English Language Arts, I became ill and was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder triggered by the continued disparate treatment of the "new"principal. One of the worse incidents was her summoning me through the hallways very disrespectfully. We tell our children, "see something, say something", the hallway was full of my colleagues. I reported the incident to human resources and the superintendent's office years before the diagnosis of an anxiety disorder.

I have more than $300,000.00 in lost benefits and wages. The bullying of teachers at the hands of principals happens more than I realize, is heinous, and especially wicked. I will share my story of hope, and reveal through "Tales of the Teacher" the horror that became my life at the hands of the unprincipled and her administrative team.

No one deserves to be violated, harassed, demeaned or bullied.

Now that I have had an opportunity to improve my mental well-being, I am ready to return to the classroom, and have begun my search.

I ask that you afford me a modicum more of time to tell my story of redemption after the abuse suffered at the hands of the school's leadership. Teaching has been the joy of my life, and here is the opportunity to provide a valuable lesson to all the "school-would-be-adult-bullies".

Our mantra to the bully will be "...when you dig one ditch 'Bully', you best dig two, traps you set for your prey, were actually made for you".

End teacher abuse at the hands of school leaders, one bully at a time, beginning with mine.

As I stand in the "Valley of the Shadow of a School-System-Cheating-Scandal", what does integrity and truth cost. Today it has cost me my career, life's savings, and peace of mind. The agony and horror that had become my life under the school's new leadership, should never be a teacher's experience.
