We are Pembleton & Sons LLC, a small American company dedicated to the 3D2A movement, empowering responsible citizens with open-source, 3D printable firearm accessories that exercise our Second Amendment rights. Now we’re being hit with a lawsuit from Rare Breed Triggers, who claim we are infringing their patents on FRT and Super Safety style products… even though our designs are independently created, community-driven, and fully open-source 3D printed files that thousands of makers in the 3D2A community have freely shared, iterated, and improved for years. These are false claims. We did not copy their designs. We are not stealing anything. This is an aggressive attempt to bully and shut down small innovators and the entire 3D-printing firearms community. That’s why we are fighting back for every single one of you in the 3D2A family. This lawsuit isn’t just against Pembleton & Sons. It’s an attack on the right of makers, tinkerers, and patriots to freely innovate, share, and build in the 3D2A space. If we let them win, it sets a dangerous precedent that could silence countless other creators and small businesses who keep the spirit of the Second Amendment alive. Every single dollar raised will go directly cost associated with the lawsuit such as lawyer fees, etc. in the fight against Rare Breed.
We cannot do this alone. Legal battles against a bigger company are expensive and exhausting, but we refuse to roll over and let them intimidate the community that built this movement. Your donation is a direct stand for open-source innovation, the maker spirit, and the 2nd Amendment in the 3D era.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The fight is on, and we’re in it for all of you.
