Cc: Everyone, Inc.
You have moved next to an institution of bigotry and sexual abue
Imagine recovering from cancer during COVID-19 lockdown. The fear of a new disease taking your life after having given so much to survive the prior. Thinking the coast is clear you move to what presents as your historic dream home; close to a school for your future foster kids and a park where you can take your dog and meet your neighbors.
You are up and running, for you new life and future family. All seems well, until the notes telling faggots to leave, vandalism to damage your new property and open view attacks that include humiliation and bodily injury are levied at your family, because of being gay.
You have violently been introduced to the horrific world of institutional redlining and gang sustained inequity. Who would ever imagine such things still exist.
James and Alvaro had big plans, those were halted with anti-gay animus and violence to obstruct their reporting and demands their family be treated equitably. Three-years later and over $400,000.00 they are still fighting for their, home, their family and their dignity.
