Hanover County is under threat.
Luck Stone wants to develop a large-scale gravel quarry, asphalt plant and concrete plant on Verdon Road in Hanover County, Virginia. This proposed quarry will encompass nearly 1300 acres of land that is currently zoned rural/agricultural and natural conservation. This is a tremendous threat to our quality of life, public health, community well-being, air and water quality, and the rural character of our county.
