For many of you who don’t know yet, our father Stan Rettew (otherwise known as “coach”) was recently hospitalized with a stroke as a result of a small clot in his brain stem. Not only has he been a teacher and coach of far too many of some individuals in his town of Chesterton, IN but he is also an amazing father of his 6 children and 2 grandchildren. 

We are politely asking for any help to cover with the cost of his rehab as well as the cost of making his home in town wheelchair accessible as his stroke has resulted in a severe lack of motor functions so far in his recovery. 

We are asking for any help to make this possible for him to regain as much motor function as he can, as well as to make sure he can recover without the worry of if he can afford it as he was expecting to retire in June from 40 years of teaching/coaching.
