Hi, my name is Wylie and I'm fundraising on behalf of Stan Burge. Stan was attacked by a burglar who broke into his house early in the morning of 3/23/2023. Stan confronted the intruder and attempted to detain the intruder while police arrived. The intruder attacked Stan. The intruder got away and Stan is actively pursuing leads to press charges. He sustained facial fractures, broken nose and a torn biceps tendon. Stan has chronic pain and has had his neck and thoracic spine fused from C2-T8. We are raising funds to help pay for medical bills and new locks on his home to secure it against intruders. We are also helping stan with a clean up service to help clean up his home and help remove damaged items from the attack he cannot remove himself.

Stan is a wonderful person and has helped many people over the years both through his church and by opening his home to people in need. He does not like to ask for help and prefers to work and lift things himself but due to chronic pain and disability needs to pay to clear his house while he heals from the attack.
