Stamper's Residence Structure Fire!
Donation protected
Hello Tampa Bay,
My name is Shane Downs and I am here to narrate the story of my friend's home burning in a 5 Alarm Structure Fire. Great News, the entire Stamper family residing in the home is safe and healthy. The fire combusted from the porch area and the roof caught fire, engulfing the house in flames. This sent smoke billowing through the home waking the residents to a panic! There was zero time to grab any personal belongings and all valuables were lost to the blaze. The family made it out alive with soot on their faces, stunned at what had happened. They watched the mementos of memories from the past now reduced to ash and coal. A tragic situation and our hearts and souls are in support of the Stampers, as they rummage through the new obstacles placed in their path of life's journey.
Dan Stamper is a disabled veteran of our armed forces. He's an amazing fella and I kind of like to think of him as farmer Dan given the daily care he gives to his vegetable gardens and household animals. A craftsman and mechanic, it is hard to imagine that Mr. Stamper is now Eighty Years Young! Think about the wealth of information and wisdom he continues to bestow, making an impact as he cares for two teenage kinfolks. He has a wife and they have been happily married and enjoying a simple type of life. I hate to see that this man now has burdens and stresses that have come at a time when his body needs rest. There is a plan and I am to provide an update as soon as accurate information has been received. It seems as if the plan is to "Excavate" the rubble left from the house fire to reveal the concrete foundation, the last remaining usable structural piece. Once the site has been prepped and cleared, we are as a team going to search for a used mobile home. It can be gutted and made functional, so that we may keep the beloved Stamper family in the neighborhood where they belong and are most comfortable. I am offering up my time and labor. to pitch in on this stuff! Does anyone have any skills, materials, or money that will speed the process?! This is all to make the return to normalcy for this family going through this terrible ordeal much quicker. Thank you to all the Gofund Me Contributors. It means so much to us, the generosity exhibited by friends and strangers alike!

Shout Out to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.... for a hasty response and impressive display of teamwork and training to douse this fire. The responding units were thorough in ensuring that the structure was extinguished. To have so many people involved in a coordinated effort was really awesome! I certainly asked permission to include an acknowledgment of the fine personnel of Hillsborough County Fire Rescue for their hard work in the line of duty.
The Stampers Thank Everyone who Donated so generously! They appreciate all the positive thoughts and prayers from those who care. They are in good spirits and making light of the bad situation. Please take care of your loved ones as things change in a moment of time.
