Ratha ist ein 20 jähriges Mädchen und unsere Nichte welche in Kambodscha lebt. Nun wurde wurde sie mit einer aplastischen Anämie diagnostiziert, dies ist ein lebensbedrohlicher Mangel von Blutkörperchen.

Zurzeit befindet sich Ratha in einem Krankenhaus in Bangkok und hofft auf jegliche Unterstützung. Leider ist diese Unterstützung nicht selbstverständlich, denn sie ist nicht krankenversichert.

Ihre einzige Chance auf eine Zukunft und ein Leben ist eine Stammzellentransplantation. Diese kostet mindestens 30000 US$.

Ohne diese Transplantation wird Ratha laut Prognosen der Ärzte innert drei Monaten sterben.
