Staines and Laleham Cricket Club 2020 appeal
Donation protected
Staines and Laleham Cricket Club has been playing Cricket in the Staines area for over 175 years. We run adult league and social sides and have been building our juniors section steadily over recent years. We are a true Family club, open to all with a diverse and inclusive membership representing our local community with cricket for all standards and ages at our ground in Worple Road.
We have survived world wars, ground moves and numerous on and off field challenges. Unfortunately the impact of Coronavirus is now threatening the clubs existence, without being able to play we cannot generate the funds we need to pay our minimal operating costs and with a relatively short summer season already significantly reduced as a result of lockdown restrictions we are fearing the worst.
We know that there are many more important issues in life than recreational sport but if you would like to keep cricket alive in Staines, for this generation and for those to come, we ask that you make a small contribution where you can. We need to raise a minimum of £5000 to cover our base 2020 operating expenses, any excess will help to fund our development and youth section for the future.
thank you
