STAGE READING for 'Brace for Impact!' a play

My Name is Maia Nikiphoroff, and I’m the creator of…

‘Brace for Impact!', a fantastical one-woman show about a flight attendant named Shiva who fights to stay focused on the job while her father’s body is being cremated. On the flight, with the help of a disheveled clown only she can see, she navigates moments in her life where she destroys that which she loves. Only after there’s nothing left to wreck will she find the power of forgiveness and regeneration.

This is my first theater piece, and I need your help!

But how? You ask…

By helping me fund a stage reading of the play in NEW YORK CITY. A stage reading will give me a sense of the flow of the play and how the audience, YOU, feels about it. Because without YOU my play doesn’t exist.

So…

I need MONEY to pay PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS (in that order of importance!):

PEOPLE

Because they are the most important aspect of anything we do.

In this case, they bring the WORDS of the play to LIFE!

They are the director, producer, assistant producer, casting director and actors (8 of them!---There are a lot of voices in Shiva's head).

Also, a photographer and videographer (to capture the fun of bringing this to life and share it with you!).
