Phillips Lions Club calls the Wisconsin town of Phillips home. We are a small town in north central Wisconsin. During the summer months another group in town called "Music in the Park" enhances the cultural experience for residents by bringing a variety of performers to our local park. The Phillips Lions Club would like to add to this experience by providing an appropriate shelter for the performers to entertain from.
The structure would be a rustic log timber construction that accents our Northwoods location. Funding in a small town is difficult even for the basics such as schools, roads, utilities etc. Our hope is that organizations and individuals that believe in the arts will help us with this project.
Our fundraising started earlier this year and we are about 15% of the way to achieving our goal. We will need help from benefactors beyond our local residents in order to be successful. We are hoping that if you are reading this you will be one of those that make this a success.
