Help a Brave Mum Fighting Terminal Endo & Leukemia Rebuild Her Life
At just 35 years old, Kehani is facing a heartbreaking reality: diagnosed with endometriosis at 19 years old, undergoing over 30 surgeries, and a life defined by pain and perseverance, she was then diagnosed with terminal endometriosis — her condition over the many years suffering severe medical neglect.
As if this wasn’t cruel enough, just last week, she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. She starts chemotherapy imminently. Her immune system is already critically compromised. Even a simple cold could take her life.
And through all of this, she is still trying to be a mum and ensure her son is cared for.
She is the sole caregiver to her 9-year-old son, who has high special needs. Despite her terminal illness, she has been his everything — his emotional anchor, his advocate, his safe place.
Their situation is now desperately urgent.
❗ Why We’re Asking for Help:
• Her home, mid-renovation, is now unsafe for a chemo patient — full of dust, mold, and exposed surfaces.
• She faces immense medical expenses, while also needing care and support for her son.
• DCJ and NDIS have failed to provide meaningful support, and she’s been forced to battle bureaucracies while undergoing life-threatening treatment.
• There is no financial buffer. Every dollar donated will directly support:
• Critical home renovations for a sterile, safe recovery space
• In-home care and respite services for her and her son
• Transport and living expenses during chemo
• Support for her son’s ongoing care during this crisis
This is not just a fight for survival — it’s a fight for dignity, for safety, and for a child to keep his mother.
We are calling on friends, family, community members, media, and government officials to help shine a light on what happens when the healthcare system and support services fail a woman who’s done everything she could to survive — and to care for her child.
✨ How You Can Help:
• Donate whatever you can — even the smallest amount helps.
• Share this page widely, especially with media contacts, advocacy groups, and local representatives.
• Reach out to local businesses or tradies who might help fast-track her home repairs.
We shouldn’t live in a world where a mother fighting two terminal illnesses has to beg for help just to make her home safe enough to survive treatment. Let’s show her she’s not alone.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for standing with her and her son.
