Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

Life has taken an unexpected turn for me. This diagnosis has been incredibly difficult to process, especially because I’ve been diligent about seeing my primary care doctor every three months for the past four years for routine visits and prescription refills. Despite this, routine PSA testing was never requested, even after discovering that my PSA levels were elevated over a year ago. Now, I’m facing Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer, which has spread to my lymph nodes, requiring extensive and ongoing lifetime of treatment and monitoring. While I am determined to fight this with everything I’ve got, the reality is that the battle comes with heavy unexpected financial burdens, especially as my treatments are located 3 hours from home.

About Me:

For those of you who may not know me personally, I’m a proud Navy veteran, who served my country well and honorably, a professional graphic artist and photographer, and proud member of my community both locally as well as abroad. I’ve always believed in living life with determination and optimism, whether it was my years of service as a lithographer in the Navy or the everyday challenges I face. Though this cancer diagnosis has been a tough battle, I’m no stranger to fighting hard for what matters most.

When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the beach, spending time my family, which are the most important people in my life as well as playing music, creating art, photography and helping people. Staying active and engaged has always been important to me, and I plan to keep that spirit alive as I work toward healing and recovery.
