Hi, my name is Carla Boynton. I am raising funds to help my wife, Lynn Miller, fight stage 4 ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed after an auto accident on Feb 25th, 2025. Since that time, she has had 2 surgeries and 17 weeks of chemotherapy. She now faces a major surgery to remove her female organs. It is a 5-hour surgery by an amazing oncological surgeon who specializes in her particular form of cancer.

Even though we have medical insurance, the cost of this kind of surgery and a 7 to 10-day hospital stay, followed by 2 months of recovery, is costly.

First, let me tell you what a special person Lynn is. She raised two children by herself, working up to 3 jobs at a time. She is kind-hearted and a great friend. Up until her diagnosis, Lynn, now 82, pet-sat for numerous people in the Lewes, DE area. She walks gently through the world, and through her fight with cancer, with quiet dignity. She lives on a small Social Security check each month and has only a small IRA to fall back on.

The money raised will go directly to her care. If, after treatment is complete, there are any funds remaining, they will be passed on to others in need.
