Hi my name is April Murphy. I am starting this go fund me for my mom. This is her second fight with double negative breast cancer. Sadly, it came back extremely rough and spreading to lungs, femur, spine, skull. She has been put on a lot of medications. She just had to go to CCU for a week as the pain is so bad she was not able to eat or even drink. Some of the costs are not being covered and while going through all this she is having to fight to get financial assistance, she cannot work in her condition, my dad is permanently disabled but doing his best and they survive on low income but these extra $50 medicines that help her to drink and eat something at all are not in the budget. She has to travel to another city and also have to fight to try to get coverage but she’s exhausted. We are all exhausted and we need some type of help for her, as her daughter to am trying to help when I can but it’s difficult. Also, a BIG expense that isn’t covered is a bed that can adjust and mattress that is self adjusting to eliminate sores. She is currently having to sleep sitting up in a chair which obviously impacts her sleep. :( we are trying to find an adjustable bed and the mattress for it.
