Hey ! My name is phoebe jones. I am 33 years old with 3 boys (3,5,and 12) I also have had stage 4 melanoma for over 3 years. I was taking oral chemo for almost 3 years (in December). We moved very abruptly and moved to the middle of no where. Treatment was still being taken and was hoping that things were steady getting better.... I started feeling very sick horrible head aches and then I was getting nervous bc fast approaching the 5 year mark on it. And then I went down. For over 2 weeks I believe. I was so out of it I was dying and I didnt even know honestly. I had a ct scheduled and they had rescheduled for the following day but I got a ride to the er and had asked them to please scan my head. They immediately were trying to transfer me to grand forks but my kids were at school so I signed myself out AMA bc I had to get them off the bus. The next day I went via ambulance to a hospital and it took forever but I was flown to grand forks I believe. I was so completely out of it and had been SICK at my house for over 2 weeks I was in bad bad shape. Connor came to the hospital after he grabbed the kids and the hospital wasnt helping me and so I signed AMA and we drove all the way back into MO! 800 miles. I dont remember the ride back really but I went into the hospital on a Thursday and was in there for 6 days. I had a huge brain surgery on Monday . 5-6ish hours and a big mass was taken out. The stage 4 melanoma has spread directly to my brain.. the kids and I moved with none of our stuff literally just each other. I have found a place thats available right now. I couldn't drive either of my vehicles so I have to get a car immediately, enroll boys in school, heal , get beds and clothes and everything literally. My drs appointments start on October 7th and then there are so so so many appointments. I feel much better which is crazy bc thete sure is a lot going on. Staying in Missouri is a must do so I can be close to my drs. I could really use some help. Ive never really even told Facebook about my cancer but here I am now. I am going to give this my entire life heart and soul trying to heal and live enough and yea I will be starting immunotherapy very soon I do believe plus so many other things. If anyone is willing to help me get on my feet here immediately so that I can start building back to health it will be so very appreciated.
