Warrior of Stage 4 Endometrial Cancer

Hello Everyone.

  It's Bianca, our family has created this GoFundMe for our mother, Irma Castillo who is currently battling cancer.

 Our mom was diagnosed in December of 2022. She had a hysterectomy procedure on December 28th 2022 and was in recovery for 2 weeks in the hospital and another month at home. During her recovery, she was in a lot of pain, we were in and out of the hospital trying to find out what was wrong. She was misdiagnosed with hemorrhoids. We later learned that she had a tumor near her nerves and tailbone.  

 Our mom had her first chemo treatment on February 5, 2023. During this time, her pain became unbearable. Seeing her in that much pain was hard to watch as we scrambled to find the help she needed to manage her pain. We returned to the hospital a few times until the doctors were able to find the right combination of medication to help with her pain.

  Today, our mom continues to fight. She is continuing her chemo  and radiation treatments with her 3rd session scheduled for April 6th. Unfortunately, she hasn't been able to be as active as she once was. The pain from her tumor does not allow her to sit or move for an extended period of time. She tries but it's become hard for her to be active. 

She has not been able to work since December and my sister and I along with my father have been doing our best to keep up with the bills. I'm currently not working to care for our mom full time. 

Any donations would go into helping with expenses, monthly bills and provide her the comfort she needs while she continues her battle.
