Hi! My name is Marietta Cano, I am currently fighting stage 4 colon cancer. I was diagnosed on December 14, 2018 as Stage 3 Colon Cancer. I had a surgery a week after and did a full Cycle of Chemo two months after the surgery. We thought everything was working until 6 months after they found a cancer cells in my lungs and liver. I did biopsy and also surgeries for both lung and liver on the year of 2020. Which was liver was August 2020 and the lung on October 2020. Since then I have been doing Chemo. And then on May 2021 there was another lesion on my liver and lungs again. And of course they had to do another surgery on my liver because it was growing so fast. The one in my lungs got delayed of what was the plan suppose to be because of health insurance issue. So I had to stop seeing mg Thoracic surgeon Oncologist because they don’t take my new insurance. So I was referred to different doctor who actually had a hard time getting an approval to see him also. It took months before I was able to see him and he acted quickly and we did Radiation Therapy. Which is actually I am stuck with the bills because my insurance is not paying for it. And I am also stuck with the the Chemotherapy bills because of the same Issue! I am already in medical debt before even my insurance start not paying for my Therapy. My Chemo got stopped because I owe so much money. I am still fighting my insurance to pay if what they supposed to pay. As of right now I still have an active small lung cancer cell. And really needed to continue with my treatment. With all my medical bills filling up I Really don’t know what to do anymore. I have been trying to bake when I feel good just to make extra money but lately it seems like my body is not cooperating. That is why I am here asking to all of you for a little help! A prayer, monetary will be appreciated ! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my stories!
