Stage 4 Cancer Treatment for Heidy Son

Heidy Son is an incredible single mother of 3 wonderful boys. She is also a loving daughter, caring sister, beloved aunt, and an exceptional teacher. On May 11, 2023, she visited the doctor for severe pain in her lower back and leg. Over the course of two weeks and multiple trips to the ER, Heidy was officially diagnosed with CANCER in her spinal cord on May 29th, 2023.

She has since been diagnosed with STAGE 4 BREAST CANCER that has spread to her spine and liver. Testing is still ongoing for the swelling in her brain to see if the cancer has spread further. The cancer is currently eating away at her bones and performing any CPR could be fatal as her bones could break and puncture vital organs.

Heidy lives her life selflessly. For more than a decade, she has committed her career to spreading joy to the hundreds of kids she has had the opportunity to work with as an elementary school teacher.

As a single mother of 3 elementary school boys, her heart lies with her children. Our wish is to afford her treatments so that we can gift her boys more time or even a life with their mother. We are unsure what lies ahead or how long she will need treatment for. What we do know is that she wants to fight for her life and fight to ensure that her children can remember what a life with their mother is like.
