Hi Everyone. My medical journey started in Nov 2025 when I was scheduled for a hysterectomy and found out day of surgery that I was 15 weeks pregnant. Being that my fibroids were so large that it was suffocating my baby, I made the difficult decision to terminate. I had to drive to Illinois to do so. During the termination, I coded on the table but God brought me back. 48 hours later , I was admitted to Grady with Sepsis for 5 days. During my hospitalization, they discovered a lump in my right breast. Once they did a scan, they labeled me stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Once I started chemo in February 2025, I was now labeled stage 4. I was legally declared disabled in April 2025 but have to be this on paper until October 8 before I can receive a payment. When I first started chemo, I was working 14 hrs a week per my disability work requirement. As of July 4th, I have not been able to work as the Cancer has spread to my left breast, both hips, and my lower spine. I have been solely dependent on my support system, especially my mom and best friend, financially. Im so used to taking care of things myself and not asking for help. Im asking for help now having overutilized my support system. I appreciate anything anyone is willing to give. Thank you in advance and God bless.
