Mateo (16) is facing stage 4 cancer — Help us access new treatment options

This GoFundMe was originally created with a specific goal:
to raise funds for Mateo to attend a healing event with Dr. Joe Dispenza in Cancún. Unfortunately, due to his medical condition at that time, it was not safe for him to travel.

Thanks to your support, Mateo was later able to attend the last three days of a healing event in San Diego, which was a very meaningful experience for him.

Today, this campaign has evolved.
We still hold the intention for Mateo to attend a full week-long retreat, but beyond that, this GoFundMe now supports something even bigger:
accessing new treatment options that could help in his healing journey.

Mateo is 16 years old and is currently facing stage 4 cancer.

In recent weeks, his medical tests have shown important changes in the progression of the disease. From a medical standpoint, the outlook is not encouraging. However, what holds us steady is our faith, our hope, and the belief that new possibilities — together with God — can open a different path.

Recently, Mateo had a liquid biopsy, which revealed that his tumor cells have significantly mutated. This opens a new door:

his tumor may respond to a specific type of immunotherapy he has never received before.

This treatment has already been requested, and we are currently waiting for insurance approval.

A path we have always followed

Alongside conventional treatments, Mateo has always been supported through an integrative approach: supplements, immune support, organic nutrition, complementary therapies, and technologies that support his recovery.

We are currently waiting for results from a test sent to Belgium, which could open the possibility for another treatment. This treatment is not covered by insurance and may involve a significant cost.

His current situation

Today, Mateo is unable to walk and uses a wheelchair. He is also attending rehabilitation therapy, but his legs are getting weaker.

We live in a two-level apartment, and moving him around has become increasingly difficult. One day, he even apologized to me because he could see how hard it was for me to carry and support him… and as his mom, that is something that touches very deeply.

Because of this, part of our current need is also to move to a more suitable home for his condition.

Beyond medicine

Mateo has also been working deeply on his emotional and spiritual healing.

We believe in the power of the mind, in healing, and above all, in God.

One of our biggest hopes is for him to attend a full week-long retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenza, where he can experience the full transformation process.

His story

Mateo was first diagnosed at the age of 8 with a brain tumor that had spread to his spinal cord.

He went through surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation in Chile, and at one point, he lost the ability to walk and speak — but he fully recovered for a period of time.

Years later, the cancer returned.

At that moment, he was given no options in Chile, and we made the decision to move to the United States in search of hope and new opportunities.

Today, against all odds, Mateo is still here.

Mateo lives with me, his mom, and his service dog Lulu, who accompanies him everywhere. He also has the constant support of his father, who, although he does not live with us, has always been present and even moved to the United States a few years ago to be closer and support him.

Mateo

Mateo is 16 years old, although physically he looks younger due to the impact of the treatments. He is sweet like a child, but with a maturity that is beyond his age.

He lives with faith, love, and a strength that deeply inspires everyone who meets him.

He shares his story to help others and truly believes that miracles are possible.

How you can help

Today we need your support to:
• Access new treatments
• Cover therapies not covered by insurance
• Support his nutrition, supplements, and overall care
• Adapt our living space to his needs
• Help him attend a full Dr. Joe Dispenza retreat

As we confirm new treatments and costs, the fundraising goal may be adjusted to reflect Mateo’s real needs.

Every donation, every share, every message
brings us one step closer to giving Mateo new opportunities.

A greater message

Mateo is not only going through this journey…
he is also inspiring others with his story of love, faith, and resilience.

You can support him by following his journey on social media as Mateo Inspira on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and soon Facebook, or by getting his book “Sueños que sanan” on Amazon (English version coming soon).

We truly believe that when people come together from love,
miracles can happen.

Thank you for being part of this journey ❤️

With gratitude,
Mateo & family

• Acceder a nuevos tratamientos
