She works 87 hours/week and is going through stage 4 cancer treatment.
With a smile.
While showing up for her 2 kids and 4 grandchildren.
Fighting for your life against cancer is hard enough.
Working these kind of hours to try to keep up with medical bills while in chemo as a single income household is something NO ONE should have to endure.
Especially not Amy.
Amy has worked 2-3 jobs since 2007.
She currently works 7 days a week.
12 hour shifts 7 days a week at her full time job. Then 3 shifts a week at her second job.
Some nights she has to skip sleep.
She keeps going.
With a smile.
She is admired, respected and loved by so many.
She is there for EVERYONE else in her life, never misses events for her grandchildren, she takes time out of her intense schedule to be there for her sisters and mom.
She is one of the most loving and caring people you could ever know.
It is our time to show up for her.
She is not the kind of person to ask for help and her lifelong work history shows just how hard she will work to take care of herself and loved ones.
She has always worked hard and somehow keeps the most uplifting positive attitude.
Everyone needs help and support.
Please help us support Amy.
Take away some of her financial burden with these growing medical expenses and give her space to have time to heal.
To rest.
To spend time with her kids and grandbabies.
She deserves it.
1st diagnosis 2021: GIST (stomach cancer) she endured chemo for a year to shrink the tumor than they did a full gastric removal, the tumor was inside her stomach so they decided to remove it fully in 2022.
2025 it came back as stage 4.
