Hello, my name is Marilu, I never imagine I would be here trying to raise funds to pay for my Cancer. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. It is in my lung, liver and spine. It all started with back pain that would not go away. After fighting this back pain for 2 months I paid for an MRI out of pocket because my insurance would not help pay to get one. This is where my battle begins. I am finding out the hard way that Insurance does not cover everything. I am a mother of 4 kids, and they depend on me. I cannot work due to my back pain and with my fight with cancer. Since I cannot work, I have no means to pay rent, pay bills and help raise my children. Any help would be really appreciated to help pay the following costs.

2. Treatment not covered by insurance

3. Travel expenses visiting specialists around the state of Texas

4. Counseling for her kids and other family members

5. Living expenses, for when I or life partner miss work beyond their allotted sick days/PTO (this is including my older kids taking time off work to help her boyfriend when he is not available)

Hola, me llamo Marilu. Nunca imaginé que estaría aquí recaudando fondos para mi cáncer. Me diagnosticaron cáncer en etapa 4. Está en el pulmón, el hígado y la columna vertebral. Todo comenzó con un dolor de espalda persistente. Después de luchar contra este dolor durante dos meses, pagué una resonancia magnética de mi bolsillo porque mi seguro no me la pagaba.
