Stage 4 Brain Cancer - Mother of Young Children
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Courtney McCullough, a 29-year-old mother of four beautiful young children, and I call Jacksonville, Florida, my home. I want to share a deeply emotional story with you. On September 15th, as I was on my way to my mother's house, I was struck by an excruciating headache that temporarily caused me to lose my ability to hear. I collapsed against the door upon arrival, and it was my mother who had to perform CPR to keep me going. In a panic, she called 911, and I was rushed to the emergency room.
What unfolded next was nothing short of a nightmare. The doctors revealed that I was facing stage 4 Metastatic brain cancer, a diagnosis that turned my entire world upside down. They told me that if I didn't begin treatment immediately, I wouldn't survive another month. It's hard to put into words just how much my life has been turned upside down by this devastating news.
I'm not just fighting for my own life; I'm the sole provider for my precious young children, ages 1, 5, 6, and 8. I've always been a hardworking hair stylist, but now, with the upcoming chemo and radiation treatments, the doctors have advised me to stay off my feet. This means I have no way of earning an income to support my family during this incredibly challenging time.
I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart, humbly asking for any support you can offer. Whether it's a donation to help with medical bills and everyday expenses or a simple prayer for my recovery, every bit counts and means the world to me and my children. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and compassion during this difficult chapter of our lives..
