Stage 4 Aggressive Prostate Cancer Patient

Hello, I'm Thomas Looney and I have been diagnosed / treated for Stage 4 Aggressive Prostate Cancer. At the height of my initial diagnosis and test, my PSA score went up to 110.20. My yearly physical reviled of my previous PSA went from a 3.50 score (Nov 2020) to a 77.50 score after 10 months (Sept 2021). Within a time frame of 90 days (Dec 2021) and after several extensive tests, several scans, several hospital visits and a prostate biopsy my PSA was now a 110.20 score. I was immediately contacted by UAB Hospital Cancer Center (Birmingham AL) and advised an immediate injection of Lupron continuing every 3 months ( an androgen deprivation therapy drug with horrible side effects) would hopefully slow the spread and growth of the prostate cancer gene cells. Aggressive treatment was soon to begin.

Previous Cat and Pet scans had shown the cancer cells had spread from the prostate - thru the limp nodes - to my chest remaining in a grouped area. In February 2022 a daily initial aggressive radiation treatment began, leaving me mostly homebound with radiation sickness and therapy drug side effects for 4 months. In April 2022 I was enrolled in a New National Aggressive Chemo Therapy to begin in July 2022 lasting 4 months. I now have completed this new therapy and await the findings from further scans and discussions between Doctor's and UAB.

I have amassed a large number of medical copays and personal bills throughout the 2022 year with more coming as I continue treatment in 2023. I own a small lawn care business which I have not been physically able to attend to due to treatments and side effects. I have been able to work some and have paid some medical and personal bills, they just continue to keep coming as my treatment continues. I'm simply asking for a little help in catching up on medical and personal bills.
