The week of Easter we’ve learned that Stafford’s heart hasn’t improved... if anything we were presented that it’s worse.  Long story short we have learned that we have maximized and exhausted all of our options at Mott’s Children’s Hospital. Therefore our only option is to seek a second opinion at Standford in California. The cardiac team there has the most successful cases worldwide for Stafford’s specific heart defect. They’re willing to screen Stafford with additional imaging and another heart cath to see if he’s a candidate for surgery. We will be traveling to Stanford which will require airfare, hotel stay, transportation and meals. The trip is planned for the end of July. We thank Jesus for providing all of our needs during  and being beyond faithful.  We also want to thank our family and friends for supporting us during this journey.
